Owner of JUST BE Yoga Studio and Go BEyond 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training School, Pernille believes that yoga is a way of life, and what you learn on the mat, you take with you into everyday life. Born and raised in Denmark, Pernille has taught extensively throughout many areas of the United States, including Cape Cod and La Jolla, California. Knowing from personal experience that yoga is a practice that makes you stronger mentally and physically, Pernille aims to guide her students through the challenges of everyday life with powerful, eclectic classes that challenge and strengthen the mind and body. Expect every class to be a different experience, filled with laughter and great music! Pernille is a graduate of the 200 Hour Finding Inner Peace Yoga School with Diane Kovanda, the 300 Hour Sacred Seed Yoga School with Jacqui Bonwell, Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Sagel Kelly Urlacher, and Balanced Athlete Training with Johnny Gillespie. Additionally, Pernille has trained with several inspirational teachers, including Brian Kest, Sadie Nardini, Dave Vendetti, and Ame Wren. Pernille is also a DoTerra Oil Wellness Advocate. PERNILLE YOGA CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Regardless of age, fitness level, or yoga experience our classes welcome all. Whether you're younger or wiser, a beginner or more advanced, Just Be has classes for all levels. Your teacher will help you get your practice to where you'd like it to Be. Please talk to a teacher if you have any questions or physical limitations and we'll make class and pose recommendations.

Core Flow
The core is where your center of gravity originates. You will build a stronger core, therefore a stronger practice. Students are always encouraged to stay at their own level.
 
Gentle Flow
​Great for beginners or people who prefer a slower paced class. Flow in and out of poses with a strong emphasis on alignment and breath. Taking the time to settle deeper into postures, helps develop a strong foundation regardless of how long you have been practicing.
 
Heated Detox
​Heated to 90 degrees....... through a Fun eclectic power sequence, we will twist and sweat out toxins.Feeling stronger and renewed, ready to take on the new week and any challenges.
 
Align & Flow
Align & Flow is a practice similar to Vinyasa where the asana practice flows with seamless transitions synchronized with a steady breath. The special addition in this class offering is a strong focus on inner and outer alignment. Each Class will focus on the teaching of the yamas and niyamas (the ethical guidelines of a yogic life.) We will meditate, align and flow, deeply relax and create self empowerment.
 
Candlelight Slow Flow
​During our Candlelight Flow Yoga you will enjoy a peaceful and relaxing candlelit room as you move from one pose to the next. A perfect way to unwind after a busy day or busy weekend. This warm, dynamic class encompasses a flow to warm the body. Available to all levels and to those looking to deepen and strengthen their practice.
 
Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga is another offshoot of Hatha Yoga. My method of Restorative includes the support of blocks, bolsters, and blankets as well as healing touch with essential oils. This practice is a series of 7 postures during which you are gifted the opportunity to reach a deep state of relaxation and maybe even homeostasis for deep cellular repair. I also incorporate Energy Therapy for added assistance in your personal healing.
 
Yin
​Yin Yoga stretches the connective tissue around the joints. Mainly targeting the ankles, knees, hips and pelvis. Postures are practiced on the ground in seated, supine and prone positions. They are held passively for 2-5 min. You will also learn breathing meditation for optimal physical and mental balance.
 
Yin Yang
​Heated around 80. Combines the deeper physical and mental release offered Yin practice and The energizing experience created by a yang practice. First part of class is meditation and longer held poses on floor (Yin). Second part is dynamic Flow (yang) ending in a full supported savasana for full integration of experience.
 
Healing Vinyasa Yoga

A practice where the asana ( postures or poses ) flow with seamless transitions synchronized with a steady breath. Incorporates meditation, flow, and deep relaxation. I have a heart centered and strength building approach to this practice, allowing for personal empowerment. Incorporates the addition of chanting and touch with assists throughout your practice to provide opening and organic alignment.

 
Moderate Flow

Wake Up, Warm Up
​Heated at 80....... waking and warming up your body and mind. Getting ready for the day. Teacher will take requests as to what students need that morning, in this Vinyasa Flow class
 
Vinyasa Flow

In this Vinyasa Flow class you will synchronize breath with movement. Students will focus on linking conscious breath with a mindful flow. In a Vinyasa class, students awaken their strength, energy, and flexibility in a fun atmosphere.

 
Heated Power
Heated Power is taught in 90 degrees. Power yoga flow will torch your calories, tone, strengthen and rinse your body, clear your mind and leave you with a sense of accomplishment and empowerment.
Buti Yoga

Buti Yoga is a soulful yet calorie-scorching workout that fuses power yoga with cardio-intensive tribal dance, plyometrics, body sculpting primal movement, conditioning and deep abdominal toning. It tones and sculpts the entire body while also facilitating inner transformation. Buti Yoga utilizes the Spiral Structure Technique to stabilize and strengthen the deeper abdominal muscles.  Instead of linear movements, the practice favors movements that challenge the body along all planes of motion resulting in long, lean muscle with sexy feminine curves.

In Marathi, the language spoken in parts of western India, buti means "a cure that has been hidden or kept secret.” In each Buti Class, the movement clears away stuck energy and revitalizes the body to help individuals shift their perception of the world around them. For Kayla, it has helped reveal an energy in herself she didn’t realize she had kept buried.  Every day she is beyond grateful for what Buti Yoga has done for her not just physically, but mentally. It has helped her grow, transform, and allowed her to be the front seat driver of her life. She is excited to help others reach their optimal potential and change their lives.
